We've adopted our own little section of Hemenway Beach at Hemenway Fishing Pier. The Adopt-a-Cove program is a way for Carpenters to make a difference in the area and the chance to become park stewards while also enjoying a day at the Lake. Taking the time to improve the condition of your adopted area demonstrates to visitors and residents alike that you care about our National Park. With the changing water levels, the need for our help is greater than ever before.
We'll clean up first and then enjoy some time at the beach together. You will get CUPP hours for the time spent cleaning and then you're free to enjoy the beach area as you choose! We will have hot dogs etc provided by Local 1977. You can bring coolers, chairs, umbrellas etc BUT NO GLASS!! Bring your family and make the clean-up even faster and the beach more fun!! Bring your Significant Other for double clean up credit!!
** Trash bags and cherry pickers will be provided - Bring gloves and wear your UBC shirts!! **
